(Blogger's Note: It's been a long few weeks at my day job.  I've been working lots of hours for multiple days in a row.  The next few posts will be subsequent, but were from 1-2 months ago.  I apologize for the delay, but sleep and bills need to happen/get paid.)

I'm sure by now you're curious about the above post.  Why did I put it here in the blog?  It goes with the brewery.  But why this?  This post, brought me to this brewery.  I saw this post about 1,000 times, and told myself 1,000 times I would go in and try it.  Today, I made that happen.  #SocialMediaWorks  (Blogger's Note: Written Feb. 28, 2018):

I checked this place out the same day as the Gordon Biersch review.  It was very cool, and the inside is so much bigger than one would expect from a Brewery/Taproom (especially one that isn't the original location).  Lagunitas is pretty prominent out here, and the Taproom in Seattle was built to be a big thing.  I have been here on weekdays when it's not so busy, and you can relax and enjoy them, and I've been here at 8pm on a Saturday night when it is hopping!  Great place, Great Space.

They have a lounge room, a room with billiards and of course the tanks set up around the place.  I don't have the pictures for this round, but will have more in my next review of Lagunitas coming soon.

Overall, the beer was exceptionally good, and that's why you'll see some higher ratings.  I see how they have expanded into the Pacific Northwest.  Kudos to them, and I also heard they have some new people coming in to add their talents to the brewery team.  I cannot wait to see what great creations are coming in next!  Highly Recommended!

On my Tap for the Day was:

550. Touch And Go
Style: Brown Ale
Brewery: Lagunitas
Untapped Rating: 4/5
Description: "Smooth, malty, honey, refreshing, sweet."
Comments: This was an exceptionally fine Brown Ale.  It was very smooth, malty, and had hints of sweet honey, and was refreshing.  Drink up!

551. A.M. Grind
Style: Pale Ale
Brewery: Lagunitas
Untapped Rating: 3.25/5
Description: "Wow...light coffee beer."
Comments: Picture light beer...but coffee flavored.  I was shocked to see this was coffee flavored given the color and the taste, but they both work better than expected.  You're in for a real treat especially if you like both wake up and knock out juice (though less knocked out, and more feeling good, Cheers!)

Style: Imperial Porter
Brewery: Lagunitas
Untapped Rating: 4.25/5
Description: "Very sweet vanilla porter, well worth the wait."
Comments: Here it is, the entire reason I came to the Taphouse.  This is the one they had advertised, and I now know why.  This porter is amazing.  It's very much on the sweet side, very strong in taste, and amazing rich porter flavor.  If you're looking for a porter to satisfy, drink this one first! (Or save it for last so that you go home happy!)

Style: Stout
Brewery: Lagunitas
Untapped Rating: 3/5
Description: "Strong Coffee Stout."
Comments: This certainly had the stout element to it, but it packs a punch, and felt a long stronger in coffee flavor.  If you're looking to go deep and dark in coffee flavor (vs. A.M. Grind) this is the one for you.

***BONUS TASTER***
Style: Strong Ale
Brewery: Lagunitas
Untapped Rating: 4/5
Description: "Smooth, malty, hoppy Ale."
Comments: This was another amazing beer.  It went down smooth, it had a malty taste all the way through, and the hops were perfectly blended in for a nice and refreshing ale.  Go undercover at Lagunitas.
